Sharlene WellsÂ
From Utah’s Miss America, to an Emmy-nominated ESPN sports broadcaster, to leading communications inside the Pentagon, Sharlene Wells is a PR and Communications trailblazer. She covered prestigious events like World Cup Soccer and Kentucky Derby. Later, she produced documentaries and books for the Department of Defense, earning a role on the Defense Advisory Committee for Women in Services and a prestigious public service medal in 2018. Now Senior Vice President at Mountain America Credit Union,  she is recognized as a “Woman of the Year” by Utah Business magazine and a “trailblazer” by Ragan Communications. Sharlene holds degrees from BYU and U of U, serving on boards like AMAR International and USO Intermountain Advisory Council, and chair of the Utah Fraud Prevention Coalition. She has four children, and is passionate about traveling, hiking, biking and most especially, being with her family.

Heather Nemelka is the Founder of Elavare and dedicated to helping mothers return to the workforce with confidence through training, mentorship, and community support. Drawing from over 20 years in leadership and marketing, as well as her personal journey of re-entering the workforce as a single mom of five, Heather created Elavare to empower women during career transitions. She also serves as vice-chair of the Silicon Slopes AI Chapter, where she is passionate about making AI a tool that everyone—especially women—can leverage to enhance their lives and careers. Heather is a sought-after speaker, dedicated to inspiring and empowering women to unlock their potential and thrive in both their personal and professional lives.

Angela Ashurst-McGee
Angela Ashurst-McGee is a Certified Professional Resume Writer (CPRW) and the creator of Upword Resume, a premium resume-writing service for professionals who want to keep their career moving onward and upward. In the last 15 years, the Upword Resume team has written resumes and LinkedIn profiles for everyone from blue collar workers and new grads to Fortune 50 executives and serial entrepreneurs. Angela brings expertise in hiring processes, resume content, and LinkedIn strategy. Angela is the mother to six teens and young adults and lives in Mapleton, Utah.

Jenny Groberg founded BookSmarts Accounting and Bookkeeping in 2008. Named Utah’s 2024 CEO of the Year by Utah Business, Jenny is passionate about helping women grow in every stage of their lives, and now leads a team of 30+ women. Hundreds of clients and companies of all sizes are growing because of the insights provided by Jenny and her team, as they become aware of the impact of their financial decisions. Jenny's work has been cited in Forbes, FOX, Entrepreneur Magazine, Accounting Today, Nasdaq, Yahoo! Finance, US News & World Report, and KSL TV. Groberg is a 2023 Stevie Award Winner x4, and BookSmarts Accounting and Bookkeeping is a 2023 top 100 companies in Utah championing women. She is a mother of 5 and loves spending time outdoors.Â

Britt Larsen
Britt Larsen is a seasoned executive with a passion for helping others advance their careers, whether through exploring new industries, job searching, interview preparation, or pursuing promotions. In 2017, she founded Livlyhood, a thriving community and career coaching platform for working women. Her early career highlights include serving as Director of Communications for a Congressman in Washington, D.C., where she led high-profile communications during the 2012 presidential election. She later became Director of Communications for the Governor of Florida, overseeing state elections and leading a team on major public affairs initiatives. Britt has also directed public relations strategies for major brands like Microsoft, Delta, and Pfizer, bringing her expertise into the private sector. She holds a degree in communications and political science from Brigham Young University.

Jennifer Moore became a mother while living in a small basement apartment in Provo and never thought she would work outside the home. After her first son was born, she cautiously tried being an English tutor six hours a week. Today, over 20 years later, she is an accomplished Chief Product Officer and business owner, driving innovation, growth, and cultural transformation within large global and local startup tech companies. She leads Strategies that Spark, a comprehensive consulting services firm providing interim and fractional executive leadership; organizational design, talent strategy and recruiting services; executive and career coaching; and operational excellence and efficiency solutions.Â
