When Things Don't Go As Planned

We’ve all had moments that didn’t unfold the way we expected--job applications with no response, interviews that never led anywhere, or opportunities that slipped away just when we thought we were ready.

That happened to us, too.

Back in January, a TV segment about Elavare was scheduled to air. It was our chance to share what we’re building, why it matters, and how we support mothers returning to work. But right before it aired, the station cut to a blue screen with words stating the program was interrupted due to technical difficulties.

Just like that, the segment was gone.

A year ago, that might have felt devastating. Another missed opportunity. Another delay.

But this time, something was different. We let it go.

And earlier today, that same segment finally aired--at the perfect time. Our website is ready. Our programs are stronger. Our community is growing. The moms who saw the segment today will have such a better experience because the website is in a better place.

So if your return to work hasn’t happened when or how you expected, we want you to know:

You’re not behind.
You’re not late.
You’re arriving right on time--for you.

You’ve already done the hard work of showing up every day for your family. Now, it's up to you to figure out what’s next--at your pace, in your way.

Because sometimes, the delay really is the gift.
