The Community for Moms You've Been Waiting For

Jul 29, 2025

You probably got tired of waiting.  Me, too!  But building a community isn’t like flipping a switch. It’s more like planting a garden.

You start with a vision of what it could be, but the results don’t come overnight. You plant the seeds, water them, and wait. Some days, it feels like nothing is happening.

But behind the scenes, things are growing.

At Elavare, we’ve been building a community for mothers returning to the workforce. And if I'm being honest, it’s taken more time than I thought it would.

I had this vision of what I thought the Elavare community should look like. I wanted to find just the right platform so it would be easy for the Elavare moms to use. I also wanted it to be easy for  women to find each other and connect meaningfully. I also wanted to create a space that actually felt like a community--not just a place to “join.”

When you’re building something that matters, you can’t rush it.

Starting slow

Sometimes, timing is everything.

And what feels slow now might be the very thing that makes it stronger in the long run.

So, with that, I'm happy to announce that I've found the platform that will work the Elavare Community. It's going to require effort from everyone if we want this to be a great gathering place for women.

The best communities aren’t built by one person--they’re built together.

They’re built when people show up, share their stories, offer encouragement, and celebrate each other’s wins.

They’re built when women feel safe to be honest about the hard days and inspired to keep going. They’re built when everyone brings a little bit of themselves to the table.

That’s what I want for Elavare.

Because when we all contribute, we create a space where women can truly connect, learn, and grow together. And that’s when the magic happens.

Timing is everything—and now is the time to make it happen.
